Baby & Me and pregnancy yoga classes with Leah Turner

Leah at Breathe is  a qualified 200 hour Yoga teacher specialising in Pregnancy Yoga and Post Natal Yoga as well as a mum of three. Setting up Breathe was an opportunity to support mums and babies, helping you find time to connect with your growing baby whether they be in the womb or out in the world. Here is a brief overview of what you can expect from a Pregnancy Yoga Class and a Baby and Me Yoga class.

Pregnancy Yoga (from 12 weeks pregnant)

Take some time and space for yourself to stretch and strengthen your body, connect with your pregnancy and growing baby, practice breathing techniques to bring calmness to help prepare for labour and relieve any aches and tensions. At the end take a much deserved meditative rest during savasana where you can close down your mind and focus on your breathe and your baby.

Baby and Me Yoga

This class is for the post-natal body and babies up to the age of 6 months. Movements are designed to help stretch and strengthen the body whilst incorporating songs and fun for your baby. As well as giving you the opportunity to connect with your body there are lots of fun movements and stretches for baby to do with you…you may even learn a few more songs to add to your list – Jumping Bean is always a hit with babies!
