"The Shellac Collective welcome you all again to the Pig’s Big Ballroom at Camp Bestival where you can relax and enjoy the very best in vintage sounds and quality live acts from across the UK.
We’re also thrilled to have Kimberley Rew and Lee Cave Berry back in the Ballroom this year. Kimberley Rew first came to popular notice in the 1970s as a member of Robyn Hitchcock’s Soft Boys. He was subsequently a founder member of Katrina and the Waves, and wrote the hits “Walking on Sunshine” and the UK Eurovision Song Contest winning “Love Shine a Light”.
We’re also very pleased to welcome back Ffion Rebecca and her band who this year will also be performing on the main stage.
New to the Pig’s Big Ballroom this year we are especially pleased to present newcomers Isla Mae, Jenem, Stretch Soul Gang, Theda Rose, Arthur and the Vendettas, Max Bianco and the Bluehearts , The United Stoats of America, and Plastic Jeezus.
A special mention must also go to Gasper Nali a roots one-man-band who has come over from the small town of Nkhata Bay on the shores of Lake Malawi to join us.
As usual there will be some great entertainment and fun for all the family as Fairy liquid brings you magic and bubbles, and PuppeTails present’s GRIMMS PUPPETAILS. Six puppeteers, none of whom take things seriously, who will make you laugh as they charm you with fantastic hand-made puppets and specially written scripts.
So come and join us in the Pig’s Big Ballroom for great music you can dance to late into the night to vintage gramophone records and enjoy some fantastic live acts, with family fun, great sounds and entertainment during the day."
