Camp Bestival at Home Book

Arranged by season and packed with activities, recipes and ideas to keep the whole family inspired all year round, why not get back to nature, have campfire singalongs and stargaze. For kids with endless energy, you could organise a kitchen disco or put on a family show. Go foraging, learn circus skills and face painting, or make festive decorations. And relax after all the activity with a family feast, plus some yoga and meditation for the grown-ups.

Written by Camp Bestival our very own co-founders Josie and Rob da Bank, with contributions from celebrity friends and festival regulars including Fatboy Slim, Sara Cox, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Fearne Cotton and Jo Whiley. The book is illustrated throughout by Josie and is filled with vibrant festival photography and imagery guiding you step-by-step through each activity.

“We’ve only gone and written a book! Yes, that’s right… we have pulled together all of the amazing things we love about Camp Bestival and hanging out with our family and popped it all into a book with ideas for making and creating the festival life at home all year round! We hope our Camp Bestival at Home book becomes the perfect handbook for parents who want to bring the Camp Bestival lifestyle to their very own home.

“If you’ve been to Camp Bestival and seen it for yourself or not yet managed to get there, fear not… we have something for every family to enjoy. Arranged by season and packed with activities, recipes, and ideas to keep the whole family inspired all year round, we take the reader back to nature, enjoying everything from campfire cooking, singalongs and stargazing. From kitchen discos with our good mate Sophie, foraging, circus skills, as well as some yoga and meditation for the grown-ups from Rob, plus more inspiring creativity from Josie than you can shake a paintbrush at.

“If that wasn’t enough, we’ve roped in some of our lovely Camp Bestival family friends and regulars including Fatboy Slim, Sara Cox, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Fearne Cotton and Jo Whiley. We know you’re going to love it and cannot wait to share it with you. We are Family after all!“  –  Josie and Rob da Bank
